Nurses were good but cardiac doctors need some patient retraining. Went there with a rapid heart rate, received drugs to bring it down. They did an echocardiogram on the night of the 14th, the hospital cardiologist finally came in the next afternoon late and said he hadn’t read it and wouldn’t get to for a few more hours. Well now they can’t find a record of it, almost a week later. I can’t get it, even my personal cardiologist can’t get it, the hospital has no record of it. God forbid something happens to me because of this and my loved ones will own this hospital. The most incompetent hospital I have ever been in, if I were dying and this was the closest I’d tell them to take me to Morton Plant.
Wonderful experience when I needed help the most. The emergency room staff was professional and prompt. I was admitted and the nurses, Eve, in the third floor was so experienced and helpful. It goes a long way when you need help and the nurses are nice. The surgeon team was dynamic and professional under Dr. Jesse, Dr. Brieley is helping to mold wonderful surgical leaders of the future. I am comforted knowing this kind of care is right around the corner when I need it! Awesome job! Awesome hospital! Awesome experience! Well mostly awesome, it still was painful!
The worst hospital out there. The staff is rude and ill attentive to patient's needs. My best friend passed due to a heart surgery that was told by nurses and doctor was a 99% success rate. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. The doctor didn't even called after everything happened to follow up and at least give condolences. No clergy was available at the hospital and having my mom as a nurse she knows that clergy was ALWAYS available on call. Horrible horrible place.
ER nurse explained things to about my medi-port (I've only had a week) that I had no idea about. I'm thankful for her help.
My Mother was recently at Largo Medical Center for a couple of weeks. Her nurses were amazing!!!!! I always want to make sure that the good news is reported! It's always easy for people to complain about a bad experience. The communication between the nurses and Dr's was so very helpful for my Mom to understand what was going on with her health. Highly recommend this hospital!
